Our salon policies & procedures

Cardless Checkout

At Hair by Samsara, we strive to provide our guests with exceptional service and a seamless experience during their visits. To streamline our payment process and enhance convenience, our system supports a Credit Card on File Policy. All credit cards will automatically be saved to the individual customer file for future use at checkout, for online booking, deposits, curb-side pickup or any broken appointment fees. Our Phorest Payments are Powered by Stripe, who have the very highest security and Level 1 PCI Compliance. Neither our salon staff, nor Phorest staff, has access to the raw card details at any stage. All guests have the right to decline the storing of credit card information.

Cancellation Policy

Please be aware that our time together has been reserved just for YOU. If you are unable to make your appointment we require at least 24 hours notice for any cut-only service and 48 hours for any color/chemical/lash service. in order to create opportunity for our guests on the waitlist. If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may have to shorten or re-schedule your appointment to ensure that our next guest will not be delayed. In our industry, a service provider is paid by the guest, not by the hour. Therefore, broken appointments do not allow time to fill the vacancy and income is lost. Short notice will result in a fee of $50, and a failure to show will result in 100% of the scheduled service missed.

Children in the Salon

Hair by Samsara loves kids and we are happy to accommodate them when they have a scheduled service. A parent may accompany their child who is receiving a salon service, without other family members present, yet remain in the waiting area to avoid congestion on the salon floor. Otherwise, salon life is not conducive to waiting children who are accompanying a family member receiving a service. We ask that all guests arrive unattended due to limited seating and to avoid over-crowding in the salon.

Service Guarantee

We make every effort to ensure your satisfaction with your experience at Hair by Samsara. In the event you are not completely satisfied, please let us know as soon as possible. We want to learn from your experience and make you happy! Should you be dissatisfied with your service, we are happy to offer a complimentary adjustment within 14 days of your original service. Our intention, always, is for you to love your hair and lashes! Any additional services, aside from the adjustment of the original service, will be charged accordingly and is payable at the time of service.

Please understand that hairdressing is an art form and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. This allows for a certain degree of subjectivity to be present during the process, where our team extends heart, creativity and skill into creating the look you desire. Therefore, apart from the complimentary adjustment, no monetary refunds will be issued for services rendered.

Product Guarantee

We want you to be happy with your hair care purchase and we stand behind your satisfaction. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with a product we’d like to know about it so that we may help or tweak our recommendation. You are welcome to return it within 30 days for an exchange or salon credit. Your salon credit may be used on another product or toward any future service. Please note: styling tools are not returnable.   

Gift Card Guidelines

We are thrilled that you would choose us when purchasing a gift card to celebrate and recognize the important people in your life. Hair by Samsara gift cards may be redeemed for both services and take-home care. All gift cards are available for any denomination, are FINAL SALES, are transferrable, are NOT redeemable for cash or gratuities, and expire as noted.
