In 2023, our salon celebrated 20 years on Main Street, while we celebrated 15 years of ownership. It continues to be rewarding to share our love for hair in this ‘Coolest Small Town in America’ serving the coolest community of people.
Hair by Samsara is in the beauty business, where hairdressing is an art form and beauty is in the eye of the beholder! Our team of professionals extends heart, creativity and skill into creating the desired look tailored to each guest’s unique vision and lifestyle. We aim to build enduring relationships based on trust, customer satisfaction and beautiful, healthy hair. Our mission is to maintain a warm and collaborative atmosphere where all feel welcome, comfortable and maybe a little inspired…and always leaving us loving their hair while looking forward to their next Samsara experience.

Behind the chair: Since 1997
Strengths:
Solutions for thick hair, undercuts, fashion-forward styles, asymmetrical cuts, styling & finishing from blow outs to the updo, multi-dimensional color, block color, and bold color statements.
Personality:
Melissa has and always will be a student for life! Passion drives her world, be it in hair, in the business and in her love for her family.
MELISSA WAGNER
Master Stylist
Behind the chair: since 1999
Strengths: Fine hair, soft layers, natural highlights and heavily highlighted blondes, men’s cutting expert.
Personality: Not only is Kristin a skilled, technical hairstylist, she is also a mentor and trainer for our styling team. Her no-nonsense approach is fueled by her years of experience and education, her level of detail and precision, as well as her assertive and reliable personality. But don’t let all that fool you. Kristin naturally goes the extra mile, cares a lot, likes to have fun and is very giving…she’s a great party planner, too!
Mentoring: Kristin's years of experience and level of advanced education not only benefit the guests in her chair, but also serve the entire salon team. She is a natural mentor and also a lead educator for all new styling team members through our advanced education program.

Strengths: Fine hair, dimensional colors, blonding and everything from pixie cuts to long layered looks.
Personality: Megan is very warm, friendly and bubbly, with a laid back and easy going vibe. She is more bohemian than trendy, loves concerts, farmer’s markets and spending time with her family.

Strengths:
Attention to detail, thick hair, textured looks, blonding, baby lights, block colors. Techniques creating movement in the hair, expert blowouts, styling, and updos!
Personality:
Brianna, aka Bri, is a calm, happy introvert/extrovert…a combo you won’t want to miss! From a young age, she possessed a love and passion for hair, taking joy in making someone feel beautiful in their own way. Reserve time in Bri’s chair for a top-notch experience you’ll want to repeat!
BRIANNA VANDERVEER

Strengths:
Alex is fun-loving, giggly and passionate about hair! Her strengths include up-styling, blonding, long hair and layered looks, smoothing treatments, fun fashion colors and brow shaping.
Personality:
Alex will walk her guests through any big change in style, color or hair challenge, as well as educate on home-care best suited to each individual. Her joy is in making her guests feel beautiful!

Strengths:
Unicorn/fashion tones, balayage, color melts, loves cuts of all shapes and working with curly hair, teens and kids cuts
Personality:
Taylor is artistic and passionate about hair! By exuding good vibes and positivity, she is very relatable, making strong connections with people. Self-proclaimed ‘professionally goofy,’ Taylor is open-minded, innovative, full of integrity, loves change and is able to see things through a broader lens.

Strengths:
Waxing, blonding, balayage, highlights, dimensional color, shoulder length and longer hair
Personality:
Logan has a sweet, calming personality, with a hard-working, dependable nature. She is very enthusiastic and loves to share her passions. Where else does she love to spend her time as much as behind the chair? The beach!
BECCA BIDDINGER
Senior Stylist/Extensionist

Strengths:
Hair extensions, dimensional color and blonding, fashion tones, bold statements of color, trendy short cuts to long lengths, smoothing treatments, waxing.
Personality:
Becca has a very easy-going, fun personality. She is energetic, charismatic and can really tear up a dance floor!

Strengths:
Razor/textured cuts from long to short, mullets, men’s cuts, updos, dimensional blonding, latest perm trends. Well on her way to becoming a curly hair expert!
Personality:
Meredith can seem shy and reserved at first, but you will see she is the real deal, full of genuine personality with a fun and quirky side! She loves the outdoors, is an avid hunter, and lives the farm life. Meredith is a forever student who is always willing to go the extra mile. She enjoys educating her guests on their style options and the best way to care for their hair. Visit her chair! You will enjoy the experience.

Strengths: Blonding, dimensional color, long to short lengths, Cezanne smoothing treatment, updo styling, men’s cuts
Personality: Maddie is creative, diligent, and is excited about ‘all things beauty!’ She is family-oriented and loves to cook. Being more of a listener than a talker, Maddie’s calm nature can be very relaxing and grounding. She looks forward to meeting new guests and building long-term relationships.

New Talent Stylist

Strengths: A direct approach to making the best of your style and hair care. Medium to long length cuts, layered looks, fashion colors, and highlighting, barber-style cuts and fades.
Personality: Tori is fun and easy to talk with. When she is not behind the chair, you may find her riding horses, adventuring outdoors, or cuddling up on the couch watching or reading her favorite horror drama.
New Talent Stylist
Behind the Chair: Since 2023
Strengths:
Curly hair enthusiast, highlighting, shoulder length hair cuts, long layered cuts, big and voluminous blowouts, Cezanne keratin treatments.
Personality:
Catherine is very warm and caring,. She loves spending time with family or cuddling with her poodle, Taylor. Catherine loves singing and playing the piano, as well as anything outdoorsy and adventurous.
Communication style:
Catherine's quiet, intuitive nature makes her a great listener! She has an attention for detail, matching her energy with that of the guest in her chair.

Lashing: Since 2019
Strengths:
Certified by NovaLash and EBL Lashes in both classic and volume eyelash extensions. She is skilled at customizing lashes for each unique eye shape, lifestyle and preference.
Personality:
Alison is friendly, patient and creative. She loves to tend to her guests, helping them to feel relaxed and beautiful after each visit! When she is not in the salon, you might find her sitting on the beach with a book in her hand, or spending time with her family and friends.
