Hair by Samsara takes its name from the iconic Samsara fragrance by Jean-Paul Guerlain, created in 1989 as a deeply personal tribute to his wife. Inspired by her inner beauty and the serene sensuality she embodied, the fragrance was created to represent harmony, devotion, spirituality, and timeless beauty.

With its signature blend of jasmine and sandalwood, Samsara has an enveloping, balanced, and sensual character. Its fragrance notes include:

Jasmine • Sandalwood • Rose • Narcissus • Vanilla

The name itself felt like a natural fit for the vision of our salon, a place where beauty is personal, intentional, and meant to make you feel truly at home.

The House of Guerlain, founded in 1828, is celebrated for its artistry, craftsmanship, and timeless approach to beauty. When Samsara was introduced in 1989, it made its mark in the world of perfumery with its use of pure Mysore sandalwood, a rare and treasured ingredient.

That same spirit of intention, craftsmanship, and beauty is what inspired the name Hair by Samsara.
